“My summer internship with Consulting For A Cause immensely broadened my knowledge and skill set. Being a part of a small and fast-growing firm allowed me to get hands-on experience with clients and a variety of projects. I spent a fair amount of time working with CFC’s 90-day business plan by conducting  assessments and research. This  involved getting out in the field,  conducting interviews and facilitating focus groups, doing  environmental scans and prospect research for clients. The opportunity to work and advance my own career while helping non-profit organizations made this summer a truly unique and rewarding experience.” -Danielle Flanagan, Rutgers University                 "Working with Consulting For A Cause as a summer intern was the most rewarding and significant work experience I’ve ever had. Through this internship I gained hands-on experience in grant writing, event planning and prospect research, just to name a few. Regardless of where I wish to end up professionally, this work experience was beneficial because of the skills and knowledge I have gained in the field of development. Paula Barbag, President of Consulting For A Cause and the organizations I served treated me like a professional and it enabled me to harness my personal strengths to produce the highest quality work that I could offer. I plan to continue working with Consulting For A Cause virtually while I attend college!"
