With forty years of experience working with the Boys & Girls Clubs on local, regional and national levels, Skanes has served as the Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester since 1994. He has been a Board member for over 15 years on the Association of Boys & Girls Clubs Professionals (ABGCP) and is Chairman of the Hudson Valley Chapter. He also serves on the President’s Council of the Northern Westchester Hospital Center. Currently President of the New York State Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs, he is a distinguished member of the Academy of Boys & Girls Clubs of America. He serves as a career consultant with Boys & Girls Clubs of America and is a member of their Career Advancement Team. Skanes received his B.S. degree from the University of Massachusetts.

Robert L. Cooper

President of RL Cooper Associates, an organizational and management consulting firm, Cooper has over 25 years of experience. He works with senior leaders to develop work cultures that provide high customer and staff satisfaction and engagement. He is the author of three books: Huddle Up – Creating and Sustaining a Culture of Service Excellence, Leadership Tips To Enhance Staff Satisfaction and Retention, and Heart and Soul in the Boardroom. Cooper presents professional development workshops on problem solving in the workplace, creating strategic focus to accomplish goals, developing staff competency and confidence, and balancing work and personal life.

Robert E. Miss, MAC, CPFR

For the past 35 years, Rob has designed board training programs and integrated marketing, fundraising, and program development campaigns to attract diverse funding streams for organizations in transition. He specializes in media management and program development, grantsmanship, government, public/private partnership, and corporate and foundation relations. Rob has developed and directed programs for universities, children’s hospitals, healthcare institutions, public broadcasting, performing arts, human services, libraries, public/private partnerships, national membership associations and corporate philanthropic contribution programs.


Marian Gryzlo

Dr. Marian Gryzlo understands what it takes to create and nurture effective private and nonprofit partnerships. She engages CEOs, boards, executive directors, donors and volunteers. Her leadership has launched meaningful, measurable and sustainable win/win/win alliances. With a Doctorate of Education in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher College and an MBA in Marketing from Iona College, Marian understands theory and practice, business value drivers, and mission-based culture.

Robert S. Nadel is President of The Nadel Consulting Group, Inc., (1991) an Independent Management Consulting firm devoted to the practice of strategic management, human resources and executive and employee pay issues at all levels within an organization and their role in the achievement of business success.
Previously served as Eastern Region Managing Partner for the Hay Group and Partner in Charge of the NY Office of the Hay Group (1969-1989).
Served as Eastern Region Partner and Partner in Charge of the New York Office for the ABC Practice at Deloitte from 1989 to 1991.
Elected as an Independent Outside Director of Hauppauge Digital, Inc., Traded on NASDAQ as HAUP. Elected Chair of the Board’s Compensation Committee in 2004. Term ended after 6 years of tenure.
Was Independent Founding Director of NASDAQ:NCTI
Serves as Named Executive Compensation Advisor for approximately 12 publicly traded companies (in Proxy Statements), and Not-For-Profit organizations (in Form 990s).
Served as an Expert Witness and Litigation Consultant in a variety of cases in reasonable compensation, management practices.
Served as President of HRNY (The Human Resources Association of New York-SHRM Chapter) which has 2,000 members. Served as Director of the Westchester Chapter of SHRM.
Served as Interim Executive Director for The New York Business Group on Health, Inc., from 1994 to 1996. NYBGH is “the Voice of Business on Health issues” in NY. (Now called NEBGH).
Member of the National Advisory Board for Managed Care for the Pfizer Corporation, and also a Member of the Advisory Board on “Healthy Babies, Healthy Business”, for the March of Dimes.

Gregory Muth

Now a private investor and member of the faculty at Columbia University since 2008, Muth is the founder and past Chief Executive Officer of StrategicMed, New York, NY, a national disease and population management practice aimed at the chronically afflicted.

Previously, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of International Medical Care, Ltd., New York, NY, a staff model health maintenance organization (HMO) offering Western-style primary care in emerging markets.


Naomi Koller

Career Specialist, Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS)

Naomi Koller focuses on strengthening both organizations and individuals through executive development and one-on-one coaching.  As the Career Specialist at Westchester Jewish Community Services [WJCS], Naomi works within the Connect to Care program, which focuses on strategic solutions for individuals with employment instability in Westchester County.  Most recently, Naomi developed and facilitated a five-day course entitled WJCS Career Bootcamp through a grant from UJA Federation; this program is targeted toward the transitioning Mature Worker.

Drawing on her background in marketing, including 15 years of experience in sales management, and branding; Naomi has an ability to formulate career strategies based on marketing concepts. Her professional experience includes building organizational hierarchies through recruitment and coaching, and developing programming within the non-profit sectorShe regularly speaks on social media best practices for personal career branding.

Her emphasis on community collaboration has led to a number of volunteer opportunities and community leadership roles, including Board Member for Hands Up for Haiti and Business Advisor at Consulting for a Cause.

Naomi has MBA and BBA degrees in Marketing from Pace University where she has been an adjunct professor since 2000. Additionally, Naomi is certified in Online Curriculum Development.
